@nhlprospectreport: First question. When did you start playing hockey?
Tim Stützle: I Started when i was 4 years old.
@nhlprospectreport: Who is your favorite hockey player?
Tim Stützle: Connor McDavid
@nhlprospectreport: What do you like most about the position you play ? What kind of playing style do you bring to a team?
Tim Stützle: Because i get many Pucks and have the Puck the Most. Also you Need to battle a lot. I can play Winger and also Center. Right now i Chose Center. I am very Creative with the Puck and have a good eye for my teammates to give them the Puck. I can also Shoot the Puck but rarely i look if someone from my Team is more Open first.
@nhlprospectreport: How do you prepare for next season during this offseason/summer training? Are you preparing differently this year? Especially because it’s your big draft year?!?
Tim Stützle: No i try to train the Hardest Every year. This year i Trained with a Coach from Sweden a lot all Summer and now I train with the ADLER Mannheim the team where I am going to play next year.
So it’s not different but I try to train every year on my things i need to get better at.
@nhlprospectreport:This past December the U20 Team Germany got promoted to the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic. What are you thoughts on playing in the World Juniors next year with Germany?
Tim Stützle: It would be a great honor to play for team Germany again and for sure it’s awesome for Germany that both the U18 and U20 play first division next year. And we‘ll try our best to stay in the group.
@nhlprospectreport: Lastly. How do you feel playing in the DEL next year will help you develop to become more NHL ready?
Tim Stützle: Yes that's also a fact why I chose that way. We have very good coaches who help to develop young players and to play against men is in my opinion the best to get stronger and to think quicker. But also I can do my school in Germany. That was also a big thing I wanted to do.
THANK YOU so much to Tim Stützle for doing this. I wish you the best of luck with everything that’s to come!
