@NHLPROSPECTREPORT: So, at what age did you start playing hockey?

Mikko Kokkonen: i started playing about 5 years old

@NHLPROSPECTREPORT: Oh nice! Who was your favorite NHLer growing up?

Mikko Kokkonen: my idol was Kimmo Timonen

@NHLPROSPECTREPORT: great choice! What do you like most about the position you play ? What kind of playing style do you bring to a team?

Mikko Kokkonen: i think i am all around d man. i can play all situations like pp pk . solid d man

@NHLPROSPECTREPORT: Awesome! And how has your experience been playing with 

Jukurit in Liiga? 

Mikko Kokkonen: that is been really good place improve my game and of course it is really nice play in home town.

@NHLPROSPECTREPORT: Thats really cool!! 

Lastly, What pushes you through tuff times in hockey?

Mikko Kokkonen: love to the game! when its hard then just have to try have fun and dont stress so much that the why i play. because this is so fun
